Morgan Edwards returns this season as the head coach for the team. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where he swam for the San Leandro Beavers, one of the age group teams that pioneered AAU age group swimming in northern California in the early 1950's.  He enjoyed success as a high school swimmer where he attained All America recognition in two events: 50 freestyle - (22.5/10th nationally) and the 200 freestyle relay - (1:31.2/ 2nd nationally)

He came to Colorado to attend the University of Denver on a swimming scholarship where he was a four year letterman and qualified for and participated in the Division I NCAA Swimming Championships in 1965 held at Iowa State.

While a student at DU, he served as Head Coach of Skyline Acres Swim Club (Mile High Summer League) for four seasons.  As a graduate student he was the Assistant Head Coach for the DU Intercollegiate Swimming Program and a coach for the DU Hilltoppers (AAU) age group team.  In the time since his college years during his professional career he stayed involved with the sport by participating as a masters swimmer in regional, national and international meets.

Currently during the non-summer months while not coaching at SRA, he is an assistant coach for ACES (USA  Swimming member swim team) where he works with younger swimmers at Cherokee Trail High School Pool.

In addition to his swimming interests and since his retirement from his professional career in the telecommunications industry (Mountain Bell, AT&T, US WEST, Qwest), he works part time as a personal Fitness Trainer at the Parker Rec Center.

He is a graduate of the University of Denver (BS Civil Engineering, MBA)

Coach Kevin returns to the team this year as Assistant Head Coach. He brings a wealth of experience and swimming knowledge to the team.

Kevin has over 14years of coaching experience, having coached for 6 years with Colorado STARS and 7 years with a USA Swimming club in Pittsburgh, PA. He swam 4 years at Westminster College in Pennsylvania where he was a 5 time All American.

Besides coaching, Kevin is a 5th grade school teacher in Cherry Creek Schools and he and his wife just recently celebrated he birth of their first child. Kevin is also a Stroh Ranch resident.

Stephanie returns to the Dolphins staff this year as an age group assistant coach and is working for the team as a volunteer.

Stephanie began swimming in college, while attending University of California at Davis. After graduating she moved to Santa Barbara, California and began competing with a masters team. She excelled primarily in the 50 free and the 200 free. She typically would place in the top 3 in her age group.

After a few years of masters swimming she was bitten by the triathlon bug. Stephanie competed on and off for seven years at the Sprint and Olympic distance. She recently "retired" from competing after some health issues with her back.

Stephanie is a high school History and French teacher by trade and truly enjoys teaching. She loves the sport of swimming and she is excited to help "teach" another subject! Her two children, Eden and Joshua also swim for Stroh Ranch. Stephanie states "This is a wonderful team and I am glad that I can be part of the staff. I am looking forward to working with your children."

Briana is a returning age group assistant coach.  She is a graduate of Chaparral High School and was one of the team captains for the 2008-09 high school season.  She has qualified and competed at the state meet as a Freshman, in Kansas, and as a Sophomore here in Colorado.

Briana learned to swim when she was 3 years old, competed from age 4-5, and then again from the age of 9 until the present day.  She is planning on continuing to swim throughout college as well.

Briana loves children and swimming and is looking forward to many years of coaching.  Some of her fondest memories involve swimming and people she has met.  She has competed in meets with professional swimmers, and has had the opportunity to meet Amy VanDyken, Rachael Komizar, Jason Lezak, and Brendan Hanson.

Briana's favorite events are 200 Free, 500 Free and 200 I.M.
